The backing is a green fabric with flex of gold to compliment the front. The binding is a combination of several fabrics from the same line and attached with a decorative gold thread. I used a simple quilting design to add to the elegance of the placemats. Use these beautifully elegant placemats in bold colors of Christmas in your table decor or give them as hostess gifts for any holiday party. I recommend spot cleaning with a damp cloth.
